These bowls are thrown on the wheel in a dark chocolate clay and glazed in this fun pattern of red circles around a sky blue dot. Once I block that pattern off with wax (which burns off in the firing) I apply the teal glaze.
I have 2 with red dots on the rim (shown in the picture--as opposed to the blue sky dots), and 2 with a red dot in the center of the bowl (shown in the last image). The rest (9) are the ones in the first 4 pictures.
